AQUARIUS        (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

Do you remember a time when you truly believed all your dreams would come true? Then life just happened and your dreams faded like a beautiful rainbow. Well it’s time to look for that rainbow because this is the start of a whole new cycle for Aquarians. And it promises to be a real good one. Realize, whatever your dreams were, they still lie dormant within you. They just need someone to believe in them. Of course that person is you. The planetary suggestion is for you to be and act bold. Boldness has inherent genius. Conceive. Believe. Achieve.

PISCES          (Feb. 19 – Mar. 20)

On the 4^th Neptune enters the sign of Pisces. This is a powerful time for the Fish because Neptune is the ruling planet of Pisces. Why is this fortuitous? Because Neptune rules the imagination and the imagination is the creative force in the universe. Everything you see first started in someone’s imagination. You have two ways to be creative; negatively by focusing on things you don’t want or positively with clear intention on what you do want. So maybe it won’t be quite as easy as “Jeanie” did it but it’ll be a lot easier than you might think. May Neptune be with you.

ARIES         (Mar. 21 – Apr. 19)

This month, The Ram is blessed with a visit from Venus, the planet of love. Venus is the feminine power in the universe and its power lies in its ability to be receptive. In order for the Ram to benefit from the blessings of Venus, it must be open to receiving love and good fortune in all ways. You don’t have to be assertive and make it happen, quite the contrary, relax, be vulnerable and let it happen. That is a change of pace for Aries but this month it’s a needed change of pace and a most beneficial one.  Enjoy it.

TAURUS       (Apr. 20 – May 20)

Think of a locomotive pulling out of railroad station. In the beginning it moves slowly, gathering its power, gaining speed with each cycle until it’s roaring down the track. Such is the planetary potential for Taurus this month. By mid-month the Bull will be charging full steam ahead with success its next stop. The only caveat is to be sure you are going in the direction of your hearts choosing. If your direction is not stimulated from your deep inner core, you won’t have the inner propulsion to finish your journey. This immense power resides in your core and strong it is.

GEMINI      (May 21 – June 21)

Because of a challenging alignment with Mars, the planet of action, Gemini has two options on how to handle this month. Imagine being in a New York City traffic jam. Your first option is to go with the flow.  At times it seems like you’ll never move again and then just a moment later, you are pleasantly surprised by the break in the jam, only to be disappointed as you come to a halt just up the street. Start and stop and start again to stop again. The second option is to park the car and head to bistro and wait it out.

CANCER    (June 22 – July 21)

Whatever you want this month, expending effort will be counter-productive. Think of your desire as a skittish cat. The more you try to move toward it the more it bolts from you.  This is the time for magnetism rather than aggression. Energetically you must release your energy from it and create a void for Ms Boots to come to you at her own willingness. She won’t be able to resist the invitation and she will come to settle down into your lap; on her terms of course.  Sometimes playing a reversed cat and mouse game can be fun as well as efficient.

LEO           JULY 22 – AUG. 22)

The normally passionate emotions of Leo are bit restrained this month. Better to think of yourself as a samurai warrior than as a roaring lion. Samurai warriors were adept in being totally engaged in the battle while at the same time being separate from it. They had a skill set and the proficiency that was respected and feared by their enemy. It’s now vital for you to keep your inner eye focused on your target without getting emotionally attached to the outcome.  Be in the battle but don’t let the battle be in you.  Passionate detachment is the key to this month’s victory.

VIRGO            (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

This month will provide Virgo with a constant ebb and flow of energy. Use the ebb as time to do your research, calculating, analysis and planning. Use the flow time as the opportunity to release all that is not needed from the ebb time. Liken it to a prospector searching for gold. He must make the effort to gather the soils but them he must take the time to sift through the sand and rocks to find and retain the precious golden nuggets. If you are faced with opposition, know that within the discordant energy is a golden nugget for your benefit.

LIBRA        (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

Libra knows better than anyone there are always two sides to every issue. This month the combination of Venus, the planet of love and relationship, and Uranus, the planet of sudden change may present you with at least one side of an issue. On the one side, you could walk around the proverbial corner and bump right into Mr. or Ms. Right. It can happen that quickly; right out of the blue. On the other side, a relationship could end just as suddenly. One day you’re in; the next day you’re out.  Rest assured that either will be for your benefit.

SCORPIO     (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

While engaged in a losing battle a scorpion, rather than be killed by its foe, has the tendency to sting and kill itself. In human terms, Scorpio has a tendency to bite its nose off to spite its face. This month you must be cautious to forego that detrimental tendency. People or situations might arise to provoke you to want to take a big chunk out of your nose. When you feel like doing so, count to tem or twenty if needed and re-group. Focus on what you want and not the frustration. You’re so much prettier with your nose on.

SAGITTARIUS       (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Sagittarius has been famously known to be impetus. By being so, Sagittarians have found themselves in the middle of an unwanted adventure wondering how they got there. This month it would be wise of you to be aware of such an occurrence. Mars the planet of power is in a challenging position for Sagittarius. Don’t push the door if it’s stuck because it might open into an abyss. You most go discerningly out into the world. Around the middle of the month, the friction lessens and the right doors slowly open for you.  Discernment rather impetuousness is the golden key.

 

CAPRICORN          (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

Presently the symbol for Capricorn is the Mountain Goat, which is noted for its work ethic and ambition.  In older times, the symbol was the Mystic Goat, known for being an alchemist who transformed lead into gold. This month it’s more efficient for you to use your mystical powers than your labor. You can do so by relying on your power of assumption. The ancient alchemist assumed that the lead would become gold. Now, it is your turn to assume that what you want will also be forth coming. It’s strongly suggested you believe in the mystical power of your assumption.

 

 

“A Fly on the Wall”

This is to let you know that on Saturday September 10 at 7:30 pm, Lee Anne Moody and I will be giving a metaphysically oriented improvisational presentation called “A Fly on the Wall.”

The name originates from numerous people expressing the desire to be a fly on the wall in our home to over hear the metaphysical conversations that take place between us.

The presentation will be formatted similar to the award winning television program, Inside the Actors Studio with James Lipton.

As you know Lee Anne has a galactic mind, an unconditional heart, a wicked sense of humor and is a brilliant conversationalist. Her previous successful one woman shows,” My Mom Talks to Dead People” and “You Do What?” have received much acclaim. She has been delight in all her shows.

With over fifteen years as a Humanistic Astrologer doing readings, teaching, lecturing across the country and authoring articles as well as a newspaper column, I feel well qualified to ask the questions we all want answered by the quintessential psychic, intuitive and cutting edge consciousness of Lee Anne Moody.  And of course, I may offer my own two cents.

The intention of “A Fly on the Wall” is to be provocative, enlightening and through it all highly entertaining. The range of topics is unlimited with nothing being out of bounds. You are invited to ask the questions of your choosing. It’ll be a blast!

A remarkable experience

Yesterday I had the privilege of witnessing something truly remarkable and I want to take a moment and share the experience with you.  In fact, I would be remiss not to share it with you.

C’est la Vie is an authentic French restaurant in downtown Sarasota. They have the best fruit croissants this side of the Atlantic ocean and their coffee is rich and flavorful.  Yesterday morning, as I reluctantly began to awaken my initial thought was to go to breakfast at C’est la Vie. But thinking of my agenda for the day I hesitated long enough to change my mind. Fifteen minutes later, the voice inside me reminded me of C’est la Vie. Once again, my discipline held. Then as I began to make some black cherry herbal tea, my persistent inner voice promoted C’est la Vie a third time. With that I imperatively voiced to my inner badger,  “Listen, I’m not even hungry. If I were hungry, I would go but I’m not, so I’m not going.”  It was no longer than five seconds later, the inner rumblings of my hunger made themselves highly noticeable.  I looked at the clock and realized that Lee Anne was just finishing up with her kundalini yoga class not far from C’est la Vie. I sent her a text to see if she wanted to meet me for breakfast.  Her immediate reply was, “Yes!”  And off I headed to the restaurant.

When I arrived at C’est la Vie, I looked for her at our favorite table and found her sitting there, not alone however, but with two women engaged in a deep discussion.  One of the women, Ruth, I recognized but the other lady was a stranger to me. After the normal cordial greetings and an introduction to Maureen, I quietly sat down letting them finish their conversation. As it turned out it was no ordinary conversation.

Some background information is now necessary. Seven years ago, a young lady named Laura came to Lee Anne for some spiritual counseling. A year prior Laura had been the surviving driver in a fatal automobile accident. The driver of the other car a young husband, Mike, was killed instantly three weeks before the birth of his first child.  Laura, who caused the accident, was desperately seeking relief from her inner torment and she was asking for Lee Anne’s assistance.

About an hour into their session, a form materialized in the room with Lee Anne and Laura. Standing before Lee Anne was a man dressed in a black shirt, black slacks and black shoes. Lee Anne did not recognize him.  She turned to Laura, who was bent over crying, and asked, “Can you see him?”

“Yes, I can,” came the tear filled reply.

“Who is he?” asked Lee Anne.

“He’s the man I killed in the accident.” Laura cried.

Lee Anne turned and stared at the form standing three feet from her. She didn’t say a word. With a smile on his face and offering a warm energy he introduced himself. He simply said,  “Hi I’m Mike.”

Thus began an amazing healing process that continued for multiple sessions.

Now, come back to the present time in C’est la Vie.  It has six years since Lee Anne worked with Laura. Mike, however, has appeared numerous times in healing sessions with Lee Anne acting as an assistant spiritual facilitator. But in all this time Lee Anne has never met Mike’s widow.  But on this particular morning, as Lee Anne went to sit at our normal table, Ruth was there to introduce Lee Anne to Maureen, Mike’s widow. Lee Anne recounted later that she intuitively knew before Ruth introduced her to Maureen what was about to take place. She realized the day had finally arrived when she would be able to relate to the widow the healing experiences with her husband. But she also knew that the timing had to be perfect and it was.

I sat there quietly listening and observing their conversation. Ruth, a superb medium in her own right, was relishing in the interaction between Lee Anne and Maureen. I listened as Lee Anne described Mike in details to Maureen as she nodded in intimate agreement. I watched Maureen release energetic pounds of grief and confusion as Lee Anne explained the greater design of the accident. Tears washed and cleansed the loss from Maureen’s face. I observed the weight on Maureen’s shoulders lighten as she dropped the guilt she was carrying when Lee Anne told her that Mike wanted her to go on with her life.  He said that he would always be with her as an angel but it was time for her to be with a man and to make a new life.  From what I heard and observed, sitting across the table from Maureen was truly an angel. She was a healing angel in human form. And I sensed Maureen was aware of it also and she was so grateful for it.

In a short while, Lee Anne and I bid our farewell to Maureen and Ruth and went to the back of the restaurant to have our breakfast and to give Maureen room to have her experience. When we finished breakfast Lee Anne needed to use the rest room. When she left I gazed around the restaurant and noticed that Maureen and Ruth had already left.  In the appropriate amount of time I began to wonder what was taking Lee Anne so long to return. My patience served me well as in due course Lee Anne returned and explained that Maureen came into the rest room when she was in there and they continued their connection. Since I was sitting directly facing the aisle to the rest room I wondered how I didn’t see Maureen pass by.  Nevertheless, in a few minutes a teary eyed Maureen came out looking for Lee Anne and giving her hug that only a grateful heart could give.  And I felt blessed to be a witness to such an event.

Now I have personally experienced the gifts of Lee Anne and I have intellectually understood the amazing transformational and healing work Lee Anne does. Intuitively, I have known since the moment I met her that she was indeed, the “real deal.”

And yes, I have seen clients go in for a session with Lee Anne, as emotionally rigid as a cold broom and come out like a warm, wet face cloth., released from the hold of whatever was troubling them.

Yes, I have witnessed people enter a session with Lee Anne with their hearts closed, shut off from receiving the love they desperately wanted, only to be freed from their own blockage from the unconditional love and intuitive wisdom Lee Anne offered in the session. They then proceed to go out into the world with an open heart feeling safe and secure.

Yes, I have heard numerous times from multiple clients that during their sessions with Lee Anne the breakthroughs they had during the session were not forthcoming in years of traditional psycho-therapy.

But…I have never had the privilege of being, the proverbial fly on the wall observing the magic that is Lee Anne. She humbly describes herself as “an open channel of love and light.”  And make no mistake about it that is so true.  When my left brain seeks to get a verbal handle on specifically what Lee Anne does, it fumbles with the diversity of her gifts.  Sure she can communicate with the deceased but that is only one tool in her gift box.  With terminology I can get my mind around, she is clairvoyant, clair-audio, and clairsentient. Lee Anne is a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual empath. She is intuitive beyond comprehension and her psychic ability is par excellence.  Without question she is a one-of-a-kind multi-dimensional healer who can commune with your higher self perhaps easier than you can. Now try to put all that on a business card or explain it in detail.  Words can, at times, be so feeble.

Presently, she has been superbly benefiting her clients, as she works with them through a series of sessions acting as a spiritual and personal coach. The multiple sessions work to uncover, understand and transmute patterns that no longer serve while providing intuitive guidance and insights on how to go forth and reach full potential.  The results of these packaged coaching sessions have been life altering.

I believe that astrology is the quintessential diagnostic tool to understand yourself, your life path and your journey. I have seen its insights have instant  positive effects on so many people. However, I have felt that in many situations, transformation and healing comes not from the intellectual understanding but rather from the vibration of love and emotional empathy. I have seen often, someone can get mentally clear about a particular issue but emotionally remain fixed in the pain. The “open channel of love and light” named Lee Anne Moody is the most remarkable channel to facilitate that type of healing. Quite frankly, it’s the type of transformational healing from which we all can benefit.

Love and Relationships

LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS

Many years ago I was invited to be a guest astrologer on a country music radio station. What was intended to be a one time gig turned into a monthly happening. In between songs I would field calls from listeners wanting astrological advice for their issues. As it happen every show, for four hours the phone lines were slammed with callers and 99% of the callers had love and relationships questions.

The most basic astrological question pertaining to love and relationships is, “What sign am I compatible with?”  I wish as an astrologer I could give a one word answer. The reality is one sign doesn’t fit all.

If you’ve been on this planet any length of time, say beyond age 13, you have come to learn that a relationship is a complex dynamic; especially an intimate love relationship. For some people that last sentence could be a major understatement.

Coinciding with the coming Valentine’s Day, I have been doing numerous astrological sessions with couples providing insights into their relationship dynamics. Some sessions have been with couples enjoying the initial stages of their relationship and eager to learn how best to navigate their journey. Other sessions have been with couples whose established relationship has come upon rocky waters. In these situations we used astrological insights to shed some needed understanding for the benefit of both parties and the relationship. Then there have been sessions with couples who were happy with their relationship but still wanted to gain more clarity on how to better nurture their treasure.

I am thankful to say that astrology can provide valuable information to help all types of people in all types of relationships and particularly intimate love relationships.

By perusing the astrological charts of two people we can discern compatibilities on varied issues in the relationship. These include ego drives, ego masks, love styles, modes of communication, sexual compatibility and money behaviors as well as other dynamics.

Such clarity, at the minimum, can save a lot time, energy and money. Years ago, I had woman client who had met dream man. She was sure he was the one. When I looked at their charts, I was not impressed with this union and I expressed my concerns.  Although my concerns did not make her happy, they did not deter her from marrying her beloved. Four months later, as I enjoyed a drink at her wedding reception I could not dispel my concerns about this marriage. My concerns proved to be well founded, when a few months later the bride and the groom sat before me seeking clarity on their troubles. This time I explained to the both of them, what the challenges were, why they were present and how best to work with them to achieve happiness.  The wife again, did not want to acknowledge the elephant sitting in the living room. The husband however, was hearing me loud and clear. As it happened a few months later, they divorced.

To date, I have not done another session for the woman. However, a few months after the divorce, the man came in for a session. He was ready to start dating again. With him he brought the birth dates of three women he had met and wanted me to comment on their respective compatibilities. I ran their charts and gave him my opinions, which were synchronistic with his perceptions. He paid me for that session and in addition handed me another check to act as a retainer. He wanted to be able to call me from wherever he was at the time and garner input about potential dates. His belief was that I was cheaper and easier to deal with, than making wrong decisions.

For a relationship to truly be happy there has to be synchronicity on multiple levels. Did you ever meet someone who you could talk with forever but there was no chemistry? Or, with someone else, the sizzle would light up the night but he/she was dumber than a rock?  There are so many factors that at times it can seem like an impossible relationship Rubik cube.

One time after doing an enjoyable initial astrological reading for a woman, she asked me to look at her husband’s planetary energies. Very quickly, I said to her, “You’re having trouble with sexual compatibility.”  She looked at me dumfounded and said, “How did you know that?”  She paused and then continued, “He wants me to start his fire and I can’t.”  I agreed with her and told her she couldn’t start his fire. Why? The reason was clear. Her husband’s sexual energy was in the element of fire.  Her sexual energy was in the element of water. It’s physically impossible for water to start fire.  However, fire can boil water and create lots of steam. I explained to her how their sexual life could be more passionate. One week later, for the first time ever, I bumped into this couple at a party. The husband was, to be understated, not excited to meet me.  Then approximately a month later at another gathering, I bumped into this couple again. This time the husband looked at me and greeted me with a big smile on his face. Sometimes something as simple as learning to boil water can make all the difference in a relationship.

Relationships, not of the intimate kind, are all about us. Parents, children, siblings, employers, employees, friends, business partners, attorneys, doctors, and the list goes on as long as there are people. Astrological perspective can shed light on any and all types. I have helped people negotiate major business deals based on the understanding of astrology charts. Astrological indicators have helped employers hire the right person for the job.

We can honestly say that without relationships we wouldn’t be here. If you are in a relationship and seek some clarity, I will be glad to assist you with it.
